It’s safe to say that I was in some pretty serious trouble. One of my new vices is betting on sports. I was on a roll for a weeks, but last week I made some bad bets and had no way to pay my bookie. I kept making excuses, but yesterday he showed up while I was in the backyard mowing the grass. The prick came up behind me and sucker punched me when I wasn’t looking. If he hadn’t done that I would’ve absolutely kicked his butt, instead of him getting a few breathtaking hits on me.
He wanted to the money, which of course I didn’t have. Though, I asked him if we could work out a deal. That’s when I told him about my daughter. He got one look at her and he said we had a deal, he even offered to throw some money my way.
